Yes, I realize that Simple Decadence is lacking in activity. I've also come to realize, now that finals are over, that I'm beginning to lose interest in SD. I'm just not inspired and motivated that way I used to be. Honestly speaking, I'm lacking interest to the point that I'm not up for administrating this place anymore. So, I'm shutting down Simple Decadence. You heard me. I'm closing this place down. Some of you guys are still roleplaying a bit, but the activity is so dead that you guys have to wait ages for replies, and there isn't much for you guys to do around here anyway. Please don't challenge my decision. I'm leaving this place open for another week or so in case you guys want to salvage anything you've written—threads, profiles, etc.—but after that, I'm putting this place into maintenance and leaving it there. You might still see me around at other forums, roleplaying, or you may see me making other forums, because I'm not entirely out of the forum-making business. But you won't see me around here much anymore. It's been nice roleplaying with and knowing all of you guys, really. <3 I'm sorry this is so sudden. But Simple Decadence was nice while it lasted.
EDIT: Forget it. I'm putting this place into maintenance mode, if any of you didn't get the hint. Speak up in the cbox if you want a profile or something, but don't expect to receive it quickly if you do; I may not necessarily be here most of the time anymore. And no, for the last time, I'm not handing this place over to anyone. Please don't ask anymore. There's a limit to my tolerance for people challenging my decision and prodding me to give them my administrator's account. I have a number of reasons for closing down, ranging from exhaustion to loss of interest and lack of activity, and I'd like it if you guys respected that.
